The Pitbull Tackle Crab Trap Float is an essential item to have when tying up and rigging your crab gear. This float is used for tying on your crab rope to keep one end afloat at the surface of the water and to mark the location of your crab trap. The floats come in a variety of colors allowing anglers to mark their traps with distinguishable bright buoys. With low light conditions on the ocean, it is important to have an appropriate float in order to mark you traps. Whenever you are rigging your pots, make sure to check the condition of your floats. If the foam feels porous or soft, replace it so your weighted line does not sink your marker.
